So, we left our house at 6am Saturday morning for what we thought would be a lovely weekend in Flaming Gorge. About 45 minutes on our way, out of nowhere came this poor little "spike" as AC would call it. For those of who are NOT rednecks that would be a small deer. Well, needless to say, I think the "spike" did not live a very long life. We had deer blood and deer fur all over the front of our car and to make matters worse..all along the driver's side of the car was an explosion of deer poo! We must have literally scared the *@#* out of him or hit him so hard that his bowels exploded. Well, after cutting all the hanging parts of our car and getting our composure, we headed back on our way. We were only in the car about 10 minutes when N decided to be sick and sat and threw up ALL over himself. Apparently he was just too sick to grab the barf bag that we had strategicaly placed right on the floor in front of him. So, again we found ourselves pulled over on the side of the freeway. N had to strip down to his bare bottoms..seriously he was BUTT naked with only his hand covering his privates as he changed into new clothes. We were all upset with him because now our car WREAKED like puke and C was now gagging and crying. Well we finally pulled into Flaming Gorge meeting AC's family with a puke filled car, a mangled front end and deer crap all over the side. However, the bright side of this is we did float down the Green River for 3 hrs with the family and had a blast.

Hey-
oh my gosh i cant believe all of that happened in one day! I would of hated to be in that car! LOL!
Since Andy goes to flaming gorge a lot to fly-fish/float the Green, he has hit at least 2 deer and one wild turkey. they all left sizeable dents or prints (turkey) but at least he was in company cars so they paid for the damage. Some days are like that...even in Australia (1 of my fav books).
